Motorsport fans mourn the loss of Juha Miettinen, a veteran of the Nordschleife and a fixture of the paddock for decades. Juha passed away on April 18, 2026, following an incident during the 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers at the Klostertal section of the track.

While the loss is felt deeply by those who knew him as a mentor and friend, there is a small measure of solace in knowing that he passed doing exactly what he loved—pushing the limits on the world’s most challenging circuit.
